Media Molecule’s much-anticipated new game Dreams will be playable at EGX 2018 next week, and Media Molecule will be conducting a developer session on the main EGX Theatre too.
It’s a rare public showing for one of PlayStation’s more intriguing first-party games, an adventure in which you navigate and shape dream-like environments. It’s been in development at the Guildford-based studio for a very long time, and the rare glimpses we’ve had have been increasingly exciting. Wes decreed it the Dark Souls of videogame creation, which is not something we’d previously considered would require a Dark Souls.
You can play it for yourself at the PlayStation stand at EGX, which is running from September 20th-23rd – that’s Thursday-Sunday next week – and if you want to go then you can buy tickets here. EGX is operated by Gamer Network, the parent company of Eurogamer.
